Salary : £23000 – £26000/annum Negotiable
Assistant Accountant | Welshpool | Permanent | £25000 + study support if desired + 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
A permanent assistant accountant job role has become available for our stable and established Welshpool based client.
The Company
An established business in Welshpool who are set up to offer office-based working, with social distancing measures already in place.
The Opportunity
To start ASAP, this newly created role will offer a varied workload enabling the successful applicant to support the financial controller with accounts preparation tasks.
Responsibilities will include:
* End to end payroll for a small number of hourly paid and salaried employees
* Overseeing purchase and sales ledger processes
* Processing up to 1000 invoices per month
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Credit control (low volume/ high value accounts)
* Sales ledger control
Personal Profile
We are looking for an experienced finance and accounting professional; knowledge of Sage/Sage payroll would be advantageous. You should be comfortable with double entry bookkeeping and AAT would be desirable. You will have experience of working to deadlines and should have strong MS Excel skills.
