Salary : £24000 – £25000/annum + Tips
We are currently recruiting for an Assistant General Manager for a well established hotel based in the centre of Tarporley, Cheshire.
Our Client is a small independent company running two high quality ‘Gastro Inns’ within Cheshire. Each property has a busy bar and food business, 16 boutique bedrooms and an event suite.We aim to be the talk of the North when it comes to great food and drink, a home from home to stay at and hospitality served by the friendliest people.
Due to unprecedented demand following a recent restoration a new position has been created to manage this dynamic business.
Responsibilities of an Assistant General Manager:-
maintaining very high standards in the quality of hospitality to guests-
delivering excellent customer satisfaction whilst ensuring operations are performed consistently to the same standard-
Maintaining a positive, happy working environment-
Ensure that all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are adhered to receipt and storage of provisions;
monitoring stock rotation and ensuring that all food is labelled clearly and correctly-
to work comfortably alone when required-
Running shifts and therefore supervising and motivating employees from front of house to kitchen to housekeeping-
Part of an experienced management team to drive the business forward in the future
To be a successful Assistant General Manager;-

Great organisational skills-
Experience of working within a fresh food establishment
