Essex- ( hours 8-5, additional over time optional)- ON-SITE NEEDED

Company: Working for a global packaging and branding agency on some of the major FMCG clients
Role:
To ensure that all images and files are complete and ready for printing according to the printer's specifications
Offering technical advice and ensuring all artwork is achievable within print production constraints
Amending, checking and pre-flighting packaging artwork
Ensure all guidelines are followed
Checking for any artwork errors
Providing colour proofing
Ability to mentor new and junior staff, providing training wherever necessaryRequirements:
Extensive experience of using illustrator
Experience using Esko Powertrapper, PACKz
Experience in pre-press and repro procedures
Experience of the print industry and processes i.e. flexo
Proven experience of artwork creation and manipulation to a high standard
Packaging experience
Ability to work both as part of a team and unsupervised
To adhere to all internal processes in place for digital workflows
