Part 2 Architectural Assistant

An award-winning Architectural practice that has firmly established itself within the East Anglia industry is seeking a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to work on a broad range of projects from their office located close to Ipswich.
This firm undertake schemes across all RIBA stages spanning a varied range of sectors including Residential, Education, Commercial, Health & Heritage to name a few. Having forged a fantastic reputation in the East Anglia region, they are now looking to capitalise on their continuing success by adding an ambitious Architectural Assistant to their busy team.
The ideal Architectural Assistant will come with UK industry experience across all RIBA work stages and be able to demonstrate high quality, innovative and considered design capability. You will gain exposure to a variety of projects within the company's varied portfolio both individually and as part of a team.

Architectural Assistant Requirements:
RIBA Part 2 Qualified
Demonstrable experience within UK Architecture practice
Competent in drafting Design and Access Statements
Knowledge of planning, building regulations, statutory compliance and technical standards
Collaborative approach within the design team
Vectorworks experience preferred but not essential
Proficiency with Adobe Suite
Experience of Construction Contract administration (JCT Suite) – Desirable
Ability to support and manage other members of the team
A highly competitive salary and benefits package would be on offer to the successful Architectural Assistant, likely to be in the range of £22-£28k, dependant on experience. You will also be eligible for Company Pension contribution and payment of subscriptions to professional bodies.
Due to the busy nature of the practice's project pipeline, this is an urgent requirement and so an immediate start is available to the right candidate.
