Sewing Machinist
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10.74 – £11.00/hour
A great chance to join a well organised and welcoming furniture goods company and help within their production of high end commercial furniture/ .
Working in an old fashioned building with up to date equipment and a fully kitted production room the team is looking to expand with the addition of a sewing machinist.
Experience with Flat and Post Sewing Machines needed with leather experience preferred but not essential.
Shifts: 40 hours a week Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-2pm
Salary: Up to £11 an hour
Key responsibilities include:
Handling leather
Sewing and stitching
Keeping a tidy work area
General production duties
To be considered for the role:
Have experience using a sewing machine
Able to work within a team and to strict deadlines
