Yard Operative
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £9.50 – £10.40/hour
Cordant People are delighted to be recruiting general operatives for our agricultural client based in Milnathort. This is a temporary position, expected to last until at least October with immediate starts available.
Job Duties:
Loading and Unloading
Bagging the products getting them ready for distribution
Operating machinery
Cleaning machinery and maintaining the yard area.
Essential:
This position involves heavy lifting so the ideal candidate will have to be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
Desirable:
Previous experience in an agricultural background
Counterbalance Forklift License
Working Hours:
7am – 8pm
At least 6 days per week – weather dependent.
Pay Rate:
£9.50 p/h for General Operative – time and half for any hours worked over 40 hours and double time paid on Sundays.
£10.40 p/h for Forklift Operator – time and half for any hours worked over 40 hours and double time paid on Sundays
