Chef
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10.22/hour
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Chef to join and help the NHS. Though initially a temporary role this will be a chance to get to work quickly; experience the environment first-hand; showcase what you can do and potentially start a long-term career within the national health service. During the current global pandemic, this is a fabulous way to give something back and to be a part of a healthcare team supporting front line services.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience of large scale volume cooking.
Be able to work within a team
Be able to follow H&S procedures and stick to recipes.
Be able to lead and set high standards for the more junior members of the catering team.
Be able to work in a fast paced and often pressurised environment to meet deadlines.
Hours of work will be 5 over 7 working the following diffferent shifts on a rota basis: 6.00–14.00, 8.30–16.30 and 10.30–18.30
Qualifications required:
City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or level 2 diploma in Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
