An established premium fashion brand renowned for their menswear & womenswear collections is currently recruiting for Senior Designer with strong directional contemporary womenswear design skills to join their Manchester based design team.
As a Senior Womenswear Designer you will be an important part of their established creative team reporting directly to the Head of Design. You will be responsible for designing creative, forward thinking, sustainable womenswear collections, working closely with the product development, merchandising and technical team. You will attend trade shows, fashion events and international inspirational trips. Working closely with external suppliers and factories to source fabrics and attend development meetings.
The ideal applicant must be working as a Womenswear Designer at an established or senior level for a premium, contemporary or lifestyle fashion retailer or brand. Possessing exceptional multi-product design skills with directional forward-thinking handwriting.
You must be an excellent communicator (verbal & written), demonstrating strong presentation skills with strong CAD and I.T skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe programs. Previous experience working with UK and international suppliers and factories, exceptional fabric and garment construction knowledge is highly essential along with experience working within a team and independently.
