Sous Chef

Salary : £30000/annum
Here at Newstaff Employment Services we are currently looking for a Sous Chef for a well known hotel business in Buckingham, this is a great opportunity for a permanent Chef to join this new and quickly growing business. The business have many opportunity for Chefs to progress within the business if this is something of interest. With Christmas coming round the corner they are very keen to get someone else in the team either starting temporary or permanent.
They usually have two shifts on site for chefs which include either-
6am-1pm
12pm-9pm
This role is for a 49 bed hotel business!! They have lots of exciting Christmas events popping up!!
Duties for this position include-
Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
Cooking and preparing high quality dishes
Assisting the Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes
Supervising all kitchen stations
Supervising, motivating and working closely with other Chefs of all levels
Being responsible for health and safety
Being responsible for food hygiene practices
Ensuring food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
Assisting with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
Ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines
