This client unit consists of supported living in a single site designed for adults with autism and learning disabilities who have various needs. A purpose-built accommodation that helps people with complex learning disabilities to live with as much independence and autonomy as possible.

Sympathetically designed both inside and out to give residents even more choice and control in how their support is delivered.

The community based accommodation enables people with learning difficulties to live independently in their own space with the reassurance that care support is on hand 24/7.

Support workers are committed to enabling the people they support to live the lives they want; lives which are fulfilling, meaningful and happy. This could be day to day support including medicine, community help like shopping, activities like cinema, undertaking hobbies and interests or working alongside them in the communal areas.

What is the job for a Trainee Support Worker?

A Trainee Support Worker is essential to work every day to help all residents live a dignified and meaningful life. The job requires the highest of standards, bags of passion while always considering the resident’s choices, their views and respecting their independence.

Hours for days will be a mixture of 8am – 3pm and 3pm to 10pm there are no long shifts contracted just on overtime if required. This will be on 5 out of 7 days weekly rota.

For this role our client is now commencing a commitment to provide full training with opportunities to access NVQ training which can be supported to begin to progress your career as a Trainee Support Worker .
