Cook / Chef
Cook / Chef required for family friendly community pub looking for an enthusiastic person who wishes to progress their hospitality career to be part of a dynamic team and assist with turning around the reputation and uphold the 5 rating gained.
As a team we collectively have the dreams and drive to put this pub on the map to become a well known event location with a high standard food offering.
Required:
* Reliable, trustworthy and hard working person who ideally has experience in the kitchen as a Chef or Cook to work on their own at lunchtimes Mon – Fri midday until 4pm.
* One evening in the week and / or weekends in rotation on their own or as part of a team dependant on the demands of the business – approx 20 / 25hrs per week.
Hours may increase depending on how the business trades and the reputation improves. Plus we hold special parties and events here so there is the opportunity to gain more hours.
Ultimately we expect the Chef / Cook to take pride in providing a high quality, efficiency and consistency in their dishes when preparing / cooking using the specifications that we provide.
As a Cook / Chef, we ask that portion, stock control and hygiene management will need to be also adhered to, to ensure profitability and to uphold our 5 rating standard.
E-learning provided that will require completing for kitchen / food level 2.
