Electrical Estimating and CAD Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £20000 – £25000/annum
Mech Tech Professionals have an immediate requirement for an Electrical Estimating and CAD Engineer for our Electrical client based in Llanelli due to continued grow this year. Whilst some electrical knowledge is helpful, our client are looking for someone with to bring a positive and constructive attitude to the role.
Duties Will Include:
* Constructing and revising quotations
* Basic CAD layout drawings and Schematics
* Interpretation of customer requirements from phone calls, emails, drawings
* Use of electrical software packages and web-based tools
* Direct contact with customers via telephone and email
* Liaising with your fellow team members and the sales team to manage workload
Skills Required:
* A knowledge of Low Voltage switchgear componentry would be advantageous
* An ability to interpret electrical schematics would be advantageous
* A knowledge of CAD drawing packages / Electrical quotations packages would be advantageous
* A good general knowledge of Windows based computers including Office, Email, Pdf is essential
* Ability to work in a team environment or as an individual is essential
