*The Venues*
You will be working within Carehomes in/around Swansea and Llanelli. We also have work available in Cardiff, Newport, Barry, Penarth, RCT and Bridgend subject to your availability to travel.
*The Role*
Working closely with the Management, you will be committed to ensuring the smooth daily operation of the kitchen by always communicating openly and effectively. Undertaking all duties reasonably required of you will be key to the continued success of the business, and you will be expected to uphold the
company brand standards at all times.
Main duties will include:
* Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
* Placing orders if required
* Monitoring and recording of temperatures
* Cleaning and sanitising crockery, workspaces, utensils, and equipment as required
* Routinely deep cleaning surfaces and equipment
* Conforming to Food Hygiene and Allergen laws
* Reporting concerns and hazards promptly
Essential
* Valid DBS/CRB
* Experience within a similar role for 6 months +
* Food Safety / Allergens certificate
* Flexible to work evenings and weekends
* Safety Shoes
Desirable
* First Aid trained
* Fire Safety, Fire Extinguisher and Manual Handling trained
* COSHH | RIDDOR | HACCP knowledge
Due to the locations, being able to drive is advantageous.
