About the role
The Kindred Creative Services Team is a full service, in-house, creative agency and we are looking for a talented designer to join our ranks. You need to be a self-motivated, ambitious, creative problem solver with a stunning portfolio of marketing communication-based design. As a Senior Designer, will be working across all our brands and marketing channels, so an understanding of best practice design for onsite, social media and direct mail is a must, and experience working on motion graphic projects would be a plus.

You should be passionate about great design, with expert level photoshop skills and great attention to detail.

Skills and experience required:

* A strong portfolio of work demonstrating inspired design conceptual thinking for marketing communication campaigns and an understanding of communication hierarchy

* Meticulous attention to detail to all assigned jobs

* Excellent communication skills, both written and vocal

* Someone comfortable working on pitch creative

* Confident at visually articulating creative ideas

* High level of photo manipulation and retouching skills

* A strong sense of typography, creative thinking and attentional to detail/crafting

* Able to receive and implement constructive feedback from your peers and key stakeholders

* Eager to learn, evolve and push new and creative ideas that raise expectations

* A pro-active, ‘can-do' attitude with the ability to take the initiative

* Works well under pressure

* Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Keynote, Miro and etc.

* Confident to independently lead the projects, mentor other designers, be a team role model and oversee external agency output

What will you be doing?

* Working with the inhouse team to produce effective ideas for promotions and campaigns

* Working collaboratively with creative team of art directors, other designers, the design lead or project and resource managers to ensure consistent quality

* Taking feedback and implementing appropriate amends

* Quality checking and approving campaign assets created against your master creative with an external agency

* Supplying approved assets to the appropriate locations with correct tagging/naming conventions

* Producing inspired creative design solutions to marketing briefs across all our brands and markets

* Taking briefs and working either as the lead creative on a project or with an Art Director to bring alive their vision for specific campaigns

* When working as the lead creative, you will be responsible for producing creative design ideas and presenting them in a professional manner to key stakeholders

* When working with an Art Director, you will be expected to work collaboratively with them to produce inspired visual interpretations of their creative concepts

* When working independently you will be expected to sell the ideas with your presentation and pitching skillsets

* Producing highly finished visuals for use across all media including TTL, ATL and BTL

* Working efficiently using the correct formats and processes

* Delivering against the agreed timings and SLAs

* Creating presentations and handover documents; working files in agreed formats and guidelines for correct asset usage across marketing collateral

* Fostering positive relationships within a team and with those outside
