CAD Draughtsman / Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum
CAD Draughtsman / Technician required to join a well-established company that specialise in providing storage products across the UK to the construction industry. My client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Draughtsman / CAD Technician to join the team, working on a wide variety of sites across the UK.
CAD Draughtsman / Technician Position Overview
Creating quality & innovative designs for a wide variety of projects
Producing technical layout drawings and designs from site surveys
Creating general layouts, low-level services, and quick but accurate outline CAD drawings
Producing manufacturing drawings
Liaising with sub-contractors and main contractors on design elements
Producing visual renders of products
Site surveying
Product design
Producing product specification sheets
CAD Draughtsman / Technician Position Requirements
AutoCAD proficient
Construction and/or civil engineering experience preferred
Site surveying experience preferred
Good levels of communication
Willingness to join a fast-paced, dynamic office based in Chelsea area
Experience in Architectural metalwork is advantageous
Ideally at least 2 years' experience using AutoCAD and Inventor
Experience with Key shot and AutoDesk is also advantageous
CAD Draughtsman / Technician Position Remuneration
Salary £35,000 – £40,000, experience dependent
