Senior Architectural Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £34373 – £39571/annum
Belmont Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Architect / Senior Technician to join our Public Sector Client’s Building Design Team on a full time, permanent basis.
As an Architect / Senior Technician, you will be able to undertake the design, specification and project management of building projects in a lead or support role, depending on the project size and complexity. You will be part of multidisciplinary design teams that work on projects from initial conception through to details design and delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Designing and specifying building projects in accordance with current guidelines, standards and regulations
* Managing projects through planning applications, building regulations and listed building consent
* Managing external consultants in the delivery of projects and ensuring KPI’s are met and quality is maintained
* Liaising with other services within the Building Design Team and wider Design and Construction Directorate
* Providing specialist technical advice and support
* Leading discussions related specifically to Architectural related issues
* Supporting the Principal Architect in the delivery of all projects
Requirements:
* Relevant Degree and significant post qualifying experience in Building Design / Architecture
* Proven, demonstrable track record in Architectural design and delivery
* Knowledge of the application, principles, theory and practise of Architectural design and delivery
* AUTOCAD, REVIT, Sketch-up and Photoshop experience
Contract Type – Permanent
Hours – Flexible between 8am and 5:30pm
Location – Preston County Hall or Remote Working with occasional office presence
