Project Executive

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Marketing and Communications Project Executive based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, with options to work at the Bristol office or at home for some of the time.

The successful candidate will earn £25,000-£35,000 depending on experience.

The successful applicant will be an organised and motivated team player with a keen interest in both communications and international development.

Role Requirements

Excellent organisational skills – able to demonstrate an aptitude for working to a high standard, prioritising multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
Expert project management skills – confident leading on the implementation of complex and high value projects
Good interpersonal skills – comfortable liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers
Fluent in written and spoken English
Excellent writing and proof-reading skills
Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Business orientated – able to plan and monitor budgets
Good sense of design principles with experience following organisational brand guidelines
French or Spanish language ability would be an advantage, but is not essential

Experience

2+ years’ project management experience
Experience managing communication-related projects
Experience working with donor or development organisations such as the European Commission and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office
Role Responsibilities

Project management

Liaise with project teams for the successful execution of communication contracts
Proof and check communication materials adding creative inputs as required and ensuring high standards are always maintained
Review and feedback on project reports
Develop and monitor budgets
Prepare and review contractual documents
Provide administrative support to project teams
Source costs from and liaise with external suppliers – for example printers, web developers and photographers
Business development

Prepare expressions of interest for new contracts, including identifying and liaising with partner organisations as required
Manage the recruitment of communication experts
Help prepare the marketing division’s proposals for new business
Track upcoming business development opportunities

The company have 40+ staff, and offices in Trowbridge, Bristol and Blackrock, Ireland. They work globally with project consultants engaged throughout the world.
