Howdens Joinery are looking for Template Processors to join us at our site based in Holme Upon Spalding Moor in East Yorkshire. As a FTSE100 business that is undergoing an exciting period of growth, this role offers you a unique opportunity to be part of our factory operation producing and manufacturing bespoke stone worktops for our customers.
Reporting to the Technical Group Leader, you will be responsible for transferring templates for high quality worktops into accurate technical drawings using Auto CAD so that our 24/7 production team can produce our kitchen worktops. In your role as a CAD Technician, you will also upload product specification sheets and liaise with sub-contractors and main contractors on site.
What we’re looking for…
– Level 2 Certificate in Computer Aided Design (CAD) or Level 2 BTEC Certificate in Engineering
– Solid surface manufacturing knowledge and AutoCAD is highly desirable
– Experience of document management systems and version control
– Key attention to detail along with good numerical skills
– Communicates positively with colleagues and can build effective relationships
– Shows initiative and displays an innovative approach to problem solving
– Demonstrates a positive attitude and is proactive in trying to improve health & safety in own area of responsibility
