Our exciting wedding accessories company is looking for an experienced seamstress / sewing machinist for our in-house workshop.

We're a fun, vibrant and growing team and we're now looking for an additional sewing machinists to work full time or part time any hours and days that cover Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5pm (and possibly Saturdays 9am-1pm) at our premises in Pershore / Evesham.

Initially a temporary position for 6 months, but with potential to be extended or made permanent.

You will have a unique opportunity to be involved in and help develop our in-house workshop. You will be making mens ties, handkerchiefs and waistcoats, as well as a range of other accessories, sewing labels onto garments, and creating custom items for weddings and other functions according to set specifications. Some hand sewing may also be required.

Experience making ties or the other items mentioned here not required – we will train you!

A real eye for detail and exactness is needed as high standards and finish are essential.

You will need to be very organised, and willing to follow processes, but at the same time constantly seeking to improve the way things are done.

Your work will be varied, sometimes easy and other times pressurised, and we need someone who can handle and meet deadlines, without someone watching over their shoulder all day. You need to be willing to step into whatever comes up and tackle it with enthusiasm.

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time, Temporary (Possibly permanent)
Salary: £9.50 per hour
Hours: Flexible hours 8:30am – 5pm Mon-Fri and 9am-1pm Saturday
Location: Pershore/Evesham, Worcestershire

You will be working with a small group of fun people in our lovely premises located between Pershore and Evesham. There's plenty of parking and lots of tea, coffee and the occasional cake throughout the day.
