Working for one of the UK’s leading reusable packaging companies who are growing at a phenomenal rate and want to join them as they enter this exciting phase of growth, the role would suit someone from a technical/design background
Main Purpose of Job:
Maintain and increase business through new and existing customers.
Location:
Home Based & Alfreton, travel minimum 3 days per week
Role Responsibilities
Research designated industry
Research potential packaging solutions, and the technical attributes
Visit existing and new potential customers
Input into forecast sales budgets annually
Achieve sales and profitability budgets for designated projects and target industry and geographical areas
Prepare and deliver presentations to customers
Advise and recommend packaging solutions, including technical aspects, to customers
Prepare official quotations in Navision
Attend seminars, conferences and trade shows in order to network
Bring in bespoke project management support to customer as required
Provide standard technical advice to customers, including suitability of solutions, timescales and ramifications for bespoke solutions and new tooling and manufacturing processes involved.
Manage diary and report visit results/follow-up action required
Keep CRM up to date
Complete weekly & monthly sales reports and competitor activity report
Liaise with in-house designer and complete design paperwork to ensure a smooth and comprehensive communication of customer requirements
Attend and present information at regular UK sales meetings.

Qualifications and Experience
Degree qualified / Or suitably experienced
Presentation skills
Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels
Ideally packaging sector experience and supply chain knowledge would be helpful
Be able to demonstrate technical solutions coherently
Clean and full driving licence.
