CAD Interior Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary :
Our client is seeking a CAD Interior Designer to produce functional designs for Space Planning and Interior Design in a 2D format using AutoCad. You will then be required to produce 3D Visuals and presentations using Moda, Sketch-Up, Photoshop or InDesign for design proposals. Training and progression is on offer within this prestigious client group.
The successful candidate should feel comfortable working in collaboration with internal and external customers, sales representatives and contractors as well as being commercially aware.
Role:
* Prepare drawings from mark ups and sketches. Drawing room layouts from the plan/schematic drawings.
* Liaise with clients and internal staff to ensure that any technical, design, installation or production issues are satisfactorily resolved.
* Reviewing project documentation to ensure a full understanding of all requirements and timescales.

* Analytical Computer literate Spatial awareness – ability to think, visualise and work in 3 dimensions
* Excellent design flair and creative conceptual skills

Desired Competencies/Skills:
* Diploma in Design with AutoCad training
* Minimum 1 years on the job experience
* Familiarity with applicable codes and standards
* Proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Word and Excel
* Ability to prioritise tasks to perform on multiple assignments concurrently
* Ability to function in a high-demand and fast paced environment
* Ability to periodically work in other sites / offices within the Group
