Warehouse Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £23000 – £26000/annum
Salary: £23,000 – £26,000 DOE per annum plus overtime and benefits
Working Hours: Core hours are 7:00 – 17:00 Monday – Friday. Start and finish times may occasionally vary between 4:00 and 22:00 on rotation, weekend work is also available.

Location: A brand new secure facility based near London Heathrow Airport

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Technician to join us in a brand new state-of-the-art secure facility based close to London Heathrow Airport who has the ability to securely receive, handle and pack high value items. The role will include loading and unloading transport vehicles and providing excellent customer service to customers/clients and administrative colleagues. Full training will be provided for the right candidate
Main responsibilities
Liaising with staff across different departments and sites
Liaising with clients and providing excellent customer service
Preparing paperwork and sundries for driving crews
Handling, packing and moving high value items with extreme care and precision
Condition and checking reporting
Various maintenance activities such as checking equipment and reporting any defects
Maintaining and promoting a high level of security and confidentiality at all times
Use of equipment such as forklift trucks
Inventory checking & auditing
Administrative tasks where required, such as checking transport slips
Other adhoc duties as required
Essential:
High attention to detail
Good maths and literacy skills
Excellent customer service skills
Experience using relevant warehouse software and Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Driving licence
Willingness to work across sites
Ability to pass security screening
Must live within 30 minute commute
5 Year Work History Desirable:
1 year experience in a Warehouse environment with experience and knowledge of handling delicate or high value items
Ex-Military Veteran
