My client is looking for a Team Leader to support their Retail Display Planning Team. This is an office based role with possible hybrid working after the training period, with minimal travel – providing second level support to a team of planners. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen and an analytical eye.
About the role:
Ensure that display plans are built in card manager in line with current merchandising guidelines and to the best standard, delivered on time & to the brief
To ensure maximum efficiency within the team, prioritising resource based on business need & customer requirements
Utilise market analysis, data insights & competitor reviews to make recommendation to improve performance & maximise sales value
Validate all display plans & floor plans ensuring accuracy before they are released/issued to key stakeholders
Provide second level support to the team: drive improvements, efficiency & best practices across the team
About you:
Experience using display planning software
Advanced knowledge of Excel
A good commercial knowledge of UK retail is essential
Experience in a team leader or management position
An analytical eye with the ability to implement change within the team & use of systems
Excellent communication skills
Retail planning or visual manager experience is preferred
