Print Finisher – Southend – £11ph – £14ph (Dependant on Experience) + Overtime Available
2pm – 10pm (PM) OR 10pm – 6am (Nights)

Henderson Brown is recruiting for a Print Finisher working either the 2pm – 10pm shift or 10pm – 6am shift on behalf of a printing company based in Southend.

The key objective is to have experience as a Print Finisher within a printing company or have experience as a Stitching/Cutting/Folding operator.

Main Responsibilities
*Setting and running various stitching and folding machines.
*Running test sheets to ensure the final product is in line with customer requirements.
*Reporting ordering or printing issues to shift managers.
*Ensuring both quality and speed of work is maintained throughout.
*Ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner in order to meet the despatch deadline.
*Maintaining machines to a high standard ensuring minimum downtime.
*Keeping machines and operating areas clean and tidy throughout the day.
*Operating Muller, Horizon, Heidelberg Cylinder, and MBO Folder machinery.

The Candidate
*Previous experience operating various stitching and folding machines such as Muller, Horizon, Heidelberg Cylinder, and MBO Folder.
*A background in Print Finishing including Folding, Stitching Trimming, and Cutting.
*Solid understanding of Printing and Print Finishing.
