Trainee CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £20000 – £26000/annum Holiday / Pension
Our client, a well established Quantitiy Surveying and Engineering Consultancy based near Kingston Upon Thames, are currently seeking a Trainee CAD Technician to join them due to continued growth. The Trainee CAD Technician will be joining the Engineering team working alongside the senior members of the team. Flexible working is available with this position.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working with AutoCAD / Revit, however full training is provided so not a great deal of experience is required for this position. If you are looking to start a successful career with a rapidly growing company, this a great opportunity to do so.
You'll be reporting directly to the Senior Engineer/Senior CAD technician, and you will be required to:
Prepare structural designs in AutoCAD or Revit
Assist with engineering projects
Attend team meetings and administration.
To attend college and obtain appropriate CAD qualifications (if not already obtained)

Trainee CAD Technician Position Requirements
Experience using AutoCAD / Revit is advantageous
Good IT / Grammar Skills
5 GCSE's (Inc Maths and English – grades C or 4 and above)
Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
An ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
