AutoCAD Industrial Designer

Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Designer who is well versed with TECHNICAL DRAWINGS, to join their welcoming and busy team. An individual with a background in either exhibitions, staging, or product design would be highly desirable.
This role will focus heavily on technical drawings, so individuals must understand AUTOCAD and the construction elements of how something works. How different products and materials fit and work together etc.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 5.30pm
Annual salary: £25,000 – £35,000 depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be creating technical drawings for the workshop and working alongside the manufacturing team to produce products in line with client expectations.
Daily duties:
Responsible for construction drawings
Attend project briefing meetings, provide design and construction solutions
Apply personal organisation to meet project deadlines
Produce drawing packs for sign-off, build/fabrication and install
Break down and programme CNC files for machining
Manage design related folders on server
Track build progress of your designed project to ensure understanding of manufacturing knowledgeExperience required:
A background in carpentry or joinery would work well
Able to work within a deadline-driven environment
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to provide solutions
Good time keeping and efficiency
Ability to arrange and run multiple projects
Apply high attention to detail throughout job role
