Our legal practice client are currently in search for a Legal Cashier to be an integral member of their accounts team.
The Legal Cashier role requires a proactive and ambitious individual who is looking to progress within their Legal Finance career.
Wortking as a Legal Cashier some of your responsibilities include:
* Processing client account payments, transfers and receipts
* Processing interest calculations and reconciliations
* Reconciling client and office bank accounts
* Monitoring residual client account balances
* Assisting with the annual SRA audit
* Ensuring the firm's compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules
* Processing incoming cash receipts
* Reconciling personal disbursement accounts
* Assisting the billing, accounts payable & accounts receivable team during periods of absences or peak times in the year
some of the requirements include:
Good understanding of SAR or SRA Rules
Confident communicator and good team player
Attention to detail and ability to prioritise workloadExperience in Client & Office Accounts within the Legal sectorFinance systems knowledge in Elite Enterprise or Elite 3E is advantageous
