The role is a full-time position, and there is a flexible approach between working in the office and remotely.
Ideally, you would be in the office a minimum of 1 day a week, usually Wednesdays, but you would need to be flexible and available for other days when projects require collaboration meetings or other team meetings.
We are looking for a Midweight Creative Designer for our fabulous client who is an award-winning integrated, creative communications agency with design at its heart. They are looking to recruit a passionate, driven Midweight Creative Designer to join their busy team on a hybrid basis.
Job Description
The Midweight Creative Designer will carry out the following day-to-day responsibilities:
Take responsibility and ownership of projects from a creative point of view and liaise with Client Services to fully understand briefs and project requirements
Pro-actively work with the Client Services team, developing & presenting work and offering creative guidance as required
Creating assets from scratch as well as working with existing creative concepts
Present your work to clients and take onboard feedback when required
Attend ‘creative preview’ meetings to collaborate with colleagues and improve work
Display best practise design skills and knowledge
Understand brand values and be the brand guardian for a key client across the studio ensuring work is kept ‘on brand
Keeping up to date with design and social trends
Guide and nurture more junior members of the team
The Midweight Creative Designer will have the following skills, expertise, personal skills and qualifications:
Excellent communication and presentation skills
A solid understanding of design principles and passion for design trends across social/digital and print
Exceptional eye for detail
Excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Suite – Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Microsoft Office
After Effects and Premier Pro – desired
Figma – not essential
Experience in an agency
You are a motivated, passionate creative, willing to take on new challenges and learn new skills
You have a positive approach and the ability to adapt to changing projects; you work well within a dynamic team, meeting deadlines and exceeding customer expectations
You have a collaborative spirit but are able to work on your own
You have strong verbal and written communication skills
You are a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion to making it better
Educated to degree level, or an equivalent professional qualification
Full driving licence and own car
