Vehicle Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £26000 – £30000/annum
Bridge Recruitment Lts, acting as a Recruitment Agency, has a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join their client's family-owned company! While the company deals with all makes of vehicles, they specialise in Ford vehicles. Standard working hours are 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays 08:00 – 12:00.
Your new role as a Vehicle Technician
* Servicing and carrying out MOT’s on all makes of vehicles
* Producing times estimates for jobs and liaising with other team members
* Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment within the workshop
* Accurately producing and maintaining repair and service records along with all other required paperwork
* Undertaking vehicle servicing, MOT, general maintenance, warranty work and vehicle diagnostic work
* Providing training and guidance to junior staff and apprentices
About you
* Must be fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
* Qualified MOT tester
* Proven experience working in a workshop environment undertaking vehicle servicing, MOT, general maintenance, warranty work and vehicle diagnostic work
* Flexible and comfortable working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills
