Point of Sale Artwork Designer

Salary :
My client are a major visual communications business, they specialise in the design and print of marketing materials. Based at their office in Melksham, they currently have a vacancy within their fast paced design studio for a Designer on a full-time, permanent basis.
Within the role, you’ll be expected to design conceptually driven materials for clients across retail, FMCG, film and entertainment. This includes a variety of Point of Sale items, print ready artwork and some digital items.
This role is fully office based, so being able to travel daily into Melksham for work is essential.
Required Skills:
* Adobe CC – InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (essential)
* Display a positive ‘can do’ attitude, and deliver exceptional output at all times
* Work proactively under your own initiative and as part of our creative team to help create best in class POS
* Work closely with our account teams to ensure all jobs are tackled without any issues in a timely manner
* Be involved with creative production ensuring all designs and artworks adhere to relevant brand guidelines, are print ready and produced within agreed timeframes
Experience:
* Two years or more experience in a creative studio
* Advanced Mac Software knowledge (Adobe Creative Suite)
* Great understanding of design, with an analytical mind-set, ensuring that brand consistency is always maintained
* Comprehensive knowledge of print and artwork presses
* Ideally experience of working with Retail, POS and FMCG
