Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working alongside one of the UK's leading Retirement house building companies, seeking an experienced Architect to join their rapidly growing team in Surrey.

The position is for an experienced Architect that ideally has a background of working in Retirement Living, however those that possess experience operating upon new-build, mid-rise Student Accommodation, Hotels and Office blocks will also be well-suited to the role.
The ideal individual will hold around 5-10 years of industry experience as a minimum, with most of those years spent working in the aforementioned sectors.
This fast-paced, unique role will see you provide a professional design service assisting with all matters relating to the purchase of land and achieving planning consents for retirement living developments. You will have a high degree of responsibility and autonomy and you'll see a number of your designs built each year.
This role would suit an individual who not only has a passion for design but wants to increase their understanding of the development world. You will be a 'hands-on' Architect who wants to design great developments whilst being capable of producing planning / presentation drawings and written documents to a high standard.
Skills, Qualifications and experience required for this role as follows:
RIBA Chartered/ARB Registered Architect
Ideally experienced in the Retirement & Extra Care Housing sector. Mid-rise Residential experience would also be very useful
Fully proficient in the use of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop
Ability to write analytical supporting documents required for planning such as Design and Assess Statements.
