New position for a Large Format Production Operative to aid the team in day-to-day work loads. As of recent months workloads have started to overpower the production team and overtime has raised to unhealthy heights. The commercial benefit to this position would be to lower overtime hours saving on bottom line costs with an aim to increase daily order counts increasing the top line.

Hobs Repro VC Bristol are looking to expand their team and are on the lookout for an experienced Large Format Print Operator to join the close knit team.
The Role:
As a Large Format Production Operative, you will be responsible for assisting and improving the production and finishing services of large format print work and will ensure the smooth running of all allocated work. Working in a small close knit team you will contribute the relevant skills that will help take the team to the next level by playing a vital role in making sure that all work is completed to a high standard whilst hitting all client deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operation of the following: Roll-to-roll printers (HP Latex, Oce Colorado), Zund CAD cutter, flatbed printers (Oce Arizona), Vinyl cutter (Summa) & lamination equipment
* Setting up print jobs through the RIP software
* General hand finishing of print work including: Meching banners, hemming & eyeletting, Weeding and application taping cut vinyls + more
* Packaging and preparing goods for dispatch.
* Using various software packages to produce orders and printed materials
* Perform operator maintenance on print and finishing equipment
* Help maintain a high level of safety, cleanliness and organisation around the workplace
* Comply with company H&S, Environmental & Quality procedures
* Ad-hoc duties as directed by the Business Manager
Successful applicant requirements:
* Experience in printing and finishing within Large Format Graphics and Signage
* A good knowledge of digital print on especially using Canon and HP
* Excellent IT & communication skills
* An understanding of customer care and client relationship
* The ability to work under pressure adhering to tight production deadlines
Desired skills:
* A basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
