User Experience Researcher
Location: London (Hybrid)
Length: 11 months
Rate: £16-19 p/h
Hours: 9am – 6pm
Overall Responsibilities:
Working closely with cross-functional, remote/hybrid team (PM, UX, PgMs, Eng)
Conducting and analyzing user behaviour through user studies; a range of methodologies like interviews, literature review, usability benchmarking, concept testing to answer research questions and triangulate experiments results
Further developing feedback channels for tracking satisfaction and usability over time
Delivering key insights to stakeholders in clear, concise, and compelling way
Top Daily Responsibilities:
Conduct qualitative user research, primarily in-lab usability sessions
User study moderation
Administer questionnaires and surveys
Assist other user researchers with various user research preparation activities
Literature reviews
Lab setup & management
Liaise with participant recruiting teams and participant onboarding
Minimum Qualifications:
2-4+ years of experience executing and shaping research studies in ambiguous spaces with the ability to work independently
BA/BS degree in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep working knowledge and demonstrated practice of a wide range of research methodologies, their strengths/weaknesses, and when to apply them in the product life cycle
Attention to detail, ability to prioritize & manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent track record on working with designers, engineers, and other team members, a collaborative and innovative spirit is must
Excellent written and spoken communication; presentation storytelling skills
Experience with user satisfaction, ux heuristics, benchmarking
