My client is a large format production agency looking for an experienced Large Format Print Operator & Finisher to join the already successful production department in their Staines Offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Competent with all aspect of print finishing
Use of vinyl cutting equipment
Use of laminators
Packing and wrapping printed graphics for dispatch
Printing overnight labels
Checking of stock levels and reporting to the Production Manager
Training to operate large format printers and Kongsberg cutting machines
Booking in jobs and taking briefs
Helping in day to day running of the officeQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS
Competent in all aspects of large format print finishing
Ideal candidate will need to be hard-working, keen to learn new skills, articulate, polite and tidy with a sense of humour. We are small friendly company and all chip in to help out during busy periods, some paid overtime may be required during these periods.
Knowledge of computer systems will be an advantage, as eventually this will lead to training in Adobe Illustrator and the use of RIP software to eventually learn how to operate the Large Format print machines.
Must be relatively fit and able as the role requires lifting and moving of rolls of vinyl and sheet media to the machines.
