The pay rate on offer is £400 – £500.
Key accountabilities of the role
Plan and execute people/HR communications for M&S
*Create and deliver an engaging, fun, digitally savvy and creative colleague engagement and communications plan for the People agenda
*Be the Colleague Communications Business Partner for the People Team
*Plan and manage significant events for the People team and agenda; with logistics support from the wider colleague communications team
*Ensure communications add value, not just noise. Create light, not heat
*Use measurement, including qualitative and quantitative data and feedback, to continuously improve communications and engagement cut through
*Support the delivery of Inclusion & Diversity communications
Land key business messages, priorities and projects
*Segment key comms audiences (support centres, managers, team leaders and frontline) and ensure the right messages get to the right people at the right time
*Develop a communications plan that delivers the core key people priorities throughout the year and also builds engagement in our company purpose and behaviours – putting the people plan at the heart of everything we do.
*Work closely with the HR Director and CofE's to manage projects and campaigns running throughout the year.
*Use excellent attention to detail, project management and team management skills to deliver the plan
*Use all available digital and tech channels including Microsoft Teams
Coach and support our leaders to lead
*Provide counsel and advice to the HR Director on how they can motivate, engage and inspire colleagues
*Own the leadership engagement for the HR Director and wider people team
*Support in the set piece annual activities including pay review, colleague survey, reward moments and Inclusion & Diversity.
