Chef De Partie – Richmond Upon Thames

SNS Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced chef de partie to work in the meat & fish section for one of our clients based in Richmond, London.
Our client owns and operates a family run and well-established Italian restaurant, which serves authentic Italian food using seasonal ingredients. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of the cuisine.
This is a permanent job role.
The right candidate will have experience in a similar role & be confident in their abilities and skill sets.
Training will be provided to the successful applicant.
Salary & Working hours:
* Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 per annum
Salary made up of basic + tronc
* Shift patterns: Fully flexible, Monday – Friday shifts may be an option.
Sunday restaurant is closed.
2 split shifts per day. (Times 10-3 / 5-10)
* Contractual hours: Fully flexible – able to offer up to 45/50 (flexible)
Responsibilities:
* Preparing specific food items and meal components at your station
* Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required
* Following directions instructed by the head chef
* Keep all kitchen work surfaces clean and sanitised
* Co-ordinate daily tasks with the sous chef optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
* Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
* Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
* Managing stock levels and identifying ordering requirements
Requirements:
* Have previous work experience in a similar role
* Ability to work well in a team
* Level 2 food & safety certificate
