RIBA Part 2 Architectural Assistant

A work experienced Part 2 Architectural Assistant is required to join a superb long established Architectural and Interior Design Studio located in York.
Following multiple project wins in transport, Culture and Healthcare sectors a fantastic opportunity exists to work in a practice with a first-rate reputation with opportunities for career development and the chance to be involved with challenging unique projects of a design led nature across the UK.
The practice established over 50 years ago employ circa 40 Architecture professionals from their contemporary studio spaces in York and London, they have a very close-knit team and a remarkably low turnover of staff owing to their superb culture and flexible working and commitment to promote a healthy work life balance. Many of the practices design feature prominently during awards season, another big draw here is the scale and complexity of the project work across various unique sectors, if exposure to project work that offer variety and a challenge then look no further than this company.
What they require is a Part 2 qualified Architectural Assistant who has gained some UK based work experience ideally within an Architectural Practice environment, candidates should also have the following –
Minimum of 1-2 years UK practice experience
Strong design and presentation skills
Be able to demonstrate technical knowledge & understanding of construction processes
Excellent spoken and written English
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with UK building regulations and the UK planning system
Be able to demonstrate previous on-site experience
Software skills:
Full Adobe Suite proficiency
Revit experience
Mentorship and support will be provided in abundance for Part 2 Assistants who are looking to become fully qualified Architects, your Architectural education here will be paramount.
Salary depending on the precise level of work experience between £26,000 – £30,000 per annum plus a host of additional benefits and the option of flexible working and early finish on a Friday.
