Project Architect – Remote based
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum
Project Architect required to join a growing multi-disciplinary Planning and Architectural Practice located in Ripon, North Yorkshire.
The position is unique in that our client are hoping to secure an Project Architect who is happy to be remote and site based predominantly, travel to the studio in Ripon will be limited to 1 day per week for teams meetings and client conference calls.
Our client are a friendly SME Boutique style Practice and they are looking for a design orientated, commercially aware Architect to support their architectural services on an array of projects mostly within the Residential space.
The work will be across the UK, Currently the split is 65% North East/Yorkshire based with the rest throughout the UK. The geographic spread is likely to increase over the next 2-3 years so a fantastic opportunity exists for a Project Architect to really grow their own client base which they can manage on their own accord.
The Project Architect will hold a minimum of 5 years' experience post Part 3 level, experience in residential and commercial sectors crucial. This will involve housing layouts and master planning, conversions and new individual dwellings. Good design and presentation skills are a must alongside the ability to produce building regulation and detailed planning drawings using AutoCAD.
The successful candidate will have excellent people skills and be able to work as part of a team. You will work with THEIR Associate Architect and be very client facing and hands on in the running of a busy practice.

Salary up to £40,000 per annum based on a 37.5 hour working week, additional benefits as follows –
