Excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join a fast growing Architectural practice based in Loughborough. The practice have offices throughout the UK with their head office being in Leeds. The Loughborough office has been growing at a steady rate and are now seeking a an Architectural Technologist to join the team.

THE PRACTICE

As an Architectural Technologist you will be joining a company made up of several offices, with an employee base of over 30 dedicated Architectural professionals. The regional office in Loughborough is made up of 6 individuals, Architects, Technologists and Architectural Assistants. As an Architectural Technologist you will be coming on board to bolster their team and facilitate further growth.

Company-wide they work in a range of sectors and project types. However, the Loughborough office predominantly work within the Education sector, meaning Architectural Technologists applying for this role will ideally hold experience in this area.

They are conveniently located in Loughborough meaning they are commutable from Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, and the wider East Midlands.

THE ROLE – ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGIST

The role on offer within this practice is for an Architectural Technologist with around 5-10 years of industry experience, ideally an Architectural Technologist that has a demonstrable background of working within the Education sector.

As an Architectural Technologist in this position you will be running jobs, while potentially leading a small team of Technicians/Assistants. The Loughborough office collaborate with the Leeds office regularly, so you will often be working on teams across both offices.

The practice utilise AutoCAD & Revit software predominantly, so prior experience of using these packages would be highly advantageous. AutoCAD proficiency is essential, while Revit experience is desirable and training can be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Possess a degree in Architectural Technology or a HNC/HND in a related field.
Achieved or working towards CIAT status.
Approximately 5-10 years of industry experience.
Ideally hold a couple of years minimum working within the Education sector.
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD & Revit.
Eligibility to work within the UK.

In return the succcessful Architectural Technologist will be offered a salary in the region of £35,000-£40,000 per annum, alongside a benefits package.
