Job Type : Temporary, Full Time

Salary : £18 – £20/hour + Overtime

SRS Recruitment Ltd are proud to be working with a new client who are one of World's most well known hotel chains.

As a Chef De Partie you will be part of a team and rotated across a number of different restaurants within a single large hotel whilst strictly adhering to Food Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures and controls.

Your main duties and responsibilities

* To produce meals as per specifications in the standard recipes, maintaining standards and informing the Head Chef whenever deviations from the set standards may occur.

* To work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the Restaurant/s whilst maintaining good working relationships with Chefs, Kitchen porters, Catering Assistants and Store Keepers.

* To ensure all aspects of the Health and Safety at Work Act are complied with.

* To ensure high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently maintained, in line with the standard recipes to enable accurate allergen information to be communicated to customers on request.

* To ensure that cleaning of all areas responsible for, is carried out to a high standard.

* Promoting good customer relations with all members of staff, visitors and sometimes VIP guests.

* With the assistance of the Head Chef, to undertake staff training as required.

* To transfer to other Hotel sites (in London) when necessary.

* To carryout any other duties, required by management as appropriate to the grade to facilitate the efficient running of the kitchen and associated areas.

* To ensure compliance with food safety regulations, assisting with the revision of HACCP if necessary. To collate and store all due diligence records as required by the Food Safety Team, ensuring accuracy of documents and taking action as appropriate.
