Salary : £45000 – £50000/annum benefits

One of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of innovative electro-mechanical solutions is now seeking a CFD Engineer to join their team in Worcestershire.

The CFD Engineer will be responsible for carrying out detailed CFD analysis to ensure that components are optimised to conform. Key responsibilities will include:

Planning and carrying out detailed technical research to forecast system performance and integration with R&D and NPD projects.
Exploring concepts for overall system architectures.
Carrying out CFD modelling.
Design / project reviews.
Using technical expertise to contribute to development of NPD strategy.The CFD Engineer will offer the following skills:

Experience in a systems engineering or CFD role.
Confidence in using technical software, including CFD, CAD (ideally Creo), FEA, statistical mathematical analysis.
Familiarity with the function and principles of the typical sub-systems present in domestic appliances.
Understanding of a broad range of engineering/physics principles, including CFD/fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, electronics, electro-mechanics and acoustics.
Logical, organised and analytical mind set.
Practical design skills, including workshop skills and rapid prototyping methods.
