Revolution Resourcing are looking for a passionate and an experienced Sous Chef to join a local country pub.

They are looking into going for there 1st Rosette next year and would love to have someone with the passion to strive forward for this.

Working in a gastro country pub situated in the beautiful surroundings of the South Downs National Park. Priding themselves on local, sustainably spurced ingredients and have thier own organic farm in Jevington, 2 miles from the pub. The menu changes regulary, using seasonal produce, so there is an oppotunity to have an input and use your own creative spark for new ideas on the menu.

We are looking for a full-time sous chef who has a real passion for food and striving to push themselves to the next level. It is an oppotunity to work alongside an experienced and highly skilled head chef, and to be part of a strong, close-knit team.

There is an oppotunity to learn butchery skills so a keen interest in that would be desirable.

The role involes working evening and weekends on a split and straight shift basis.

Ideally the candidate will need to have at least 5 years of experience in a commercial kitchen and acheieved a NVQ Level 2 or higher in Hospitality and Catering.

Due to the location on the pub it is a requirement that the candidates have a valid driving licence and access to vehicle.
