4myschools are working with a variety of schools in Thetford and the surrounding areas who are seeking long term Primary Teaching Assistants to support in EYFS, KS1, KS2 and SRB units within the mainstream settings.

What is the Teaching Assistant role:
·Providing 1:1 support tailored around the child's needs in the school environment
·Supporting the class Teacher by working with all children in the classroom to provide them support on their work and tasks
·Supporting the child physically around the school
·Acting as a role model!
What the successfully appointed Teaching Assistant will have:
·Grade 4 (C) or above in both Maths and English at GCSE level
·A pro-active and can do attitude with willingness to work in a team
·A positive approach to classroom management helping to create a positive learning environment
·Experience working with SEMH/ Challenging behaviour or SEND children an advantage but not necessary
·A valid child workforce enhanced DBS (please note you can apply for this through 4myschools)
