Head Chef
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £12.10/hour
Head Chef – Week 1-36 hours/Week 2-44 hours – 7.00am-4.30pm
To manage and develop a high-quality catering service to residents, guests, and visitors to the home. To operate a safe, professional, and cost-effective catering service whilst at all times complying with all statutory and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook all daily meals for residents, the majority of dishes will be made in house and home baked products should be available daily for residents and visitors to the home.
* Ensuring the attractive presentation of all meals.
* Provide regular interaction with residents to gain feedback regarding the food service
* Supervise and direct the work of other kitchen staff, providing instruction and demonstration to unqualified staff on simple food preparation activity.
* Assist in ordering of supplies and keeping stock secure at all times, storing appropriately and avoiding unnecessary wastage and deterioration of foodstuffs.
