Job Function:
Reporting into the Project Manager for your respective network build, the main purpose of your role is to support the project team in the back office administration of the workforce management system, assist with the administration of streetworks permits and workforce scheduling, and perform general office administration duties that enable us to deliver our FTTP (Fibre To The Premises) projects.
Your key responsibilities are:
* You will be supporting the Project Team with all administrative tasks making regular use of MS Office and additional systems and sites (training will be provided).
* You will be working daily in the Workforce Management system (WHAM), closing out the civils work orders, leaving the fibre work orders for the Company Fibre teams to complete.
* Together with the Streetworks Administration Team you will support in the submission of “Safe Digs” information and will utilise the Linesearch website, downloading each individual utility drawing.
* Working with the Scheduling team, you will assist with any general scheduling administration duties and will update the live permits tracker on a regular basis.
* Ultimately your role is to facilitate internal teams with high quality administrative support so that we can deliver a safe network build, on time, with the correct regulatory permissions so that our full fibre network build projects are on deadline and budget.
* You will visit the build office on a regular basis (up to twice per week) and will establish working relationships with your company colleagues in the area.
You will report to the Project Manager and will be working every day with various internal office-based and site-based teams.
Candidate Prodile:
* Excellent MS Office administration skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to communicate internally using standard templates and/or tracker documents.
* Escalate issues as they arise to ensure action is taken
* Full UK Driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred due to office locations)
* Experience in or an understanding of a civil engineering or streetworks office environment
* MS Project (desirable not essential)
Hybrid working – Primarily remote working but 1-2 dayus in office every fortnight.
Working hours –
Mon-Fri, 8.00am – 4.30pm @37.5 hours
