Salary : £12.50 – £27/hour
We have an immediate requirement for Cooks at East Midlands Airport (DE74 2SA).
These positions are immediate starts.
In return for this Cook role, we offer:
• £12.50 p/h – £13.50 p/h.
• £25.00 p/h – £27.00 p/h on Bank Holidays.
• Guarantee of a minimum of 40 – 50 hours per week.
• Two shifts 0330 hrs – 1100 hrs or 1100 hrs – 2030 hrs covering a 7-day rota.

As a Cook your duties will be:
• Preparing food ranging from light snacks and refreshments to English breakfast & pub-style continental meals.
• Assisting in the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Maintaining quality hygiene standards within the production areas at all times.
• Ensuring that the kitchen is running effectively, and meals are prepared on time and to the highest standards.
• Working in a fast-paced kitchen and working to set meal and portion plans.
To be considered for the role of a Cook:
• You must have gained cooking experience within either a hotel, high street restaurant, pub, banqueting, contract catering or similar catering environment.
• You must have experience in cooking fresh food.
• Be able to commute easily and reside within travelling distance of East Midlands Airport.
• You will be required to provide a five-year checkable history and a criminal record check as part of the interview process
We would like to hear from individuals that have experience as a chef, chef assistant, chef de Partie, commis chef or similar experience in a kitchen environment.
