Salary : £55000 – £70000/annum

Project Manager required to join a team of PM's and Design/Architectural professionals within a company that specialises in the delivery of high-end automotive showrooms.

The company deliver the full process of designing to the client's requirements, offering excellent architectural design concepts,through to project managing the construction phase. The car showrooms are designed with a strong sense of customer focus, ensuring a high end delivery every time.

The Project Manager will need to be able to demonstrate a solid grounding within the interior fit-out or retail fit-out arena with a good understanding of JCT contracts and design work.

The salary and package offered are both fully negotiable based upon the experience level of the successful candidate.

Job Title: PROJECT MANAGER
– including BRAND GUARDIAN MONITORING
Reporting to: Head of Project Management / Board Director

Primary Objectives/Key Tasks
To act as a Project Management Team member
To deliver Project Management team tasks and duties of Project Management,
Employers' Agent, Project Monitoring, Brand Guardian and Cost Management service
appointments.
The individual will need to be able to communicate in a professional and efficient manner
with clients, suppliers, consultants and contractors at a variety of levels.

The individual will be required to:-
Have prior experience in a similar capacity

Manage all aspects of typical Construction projects including (but not limited to) – site
survey, Planning advice, Consultants appointments, Cost planning, Procurement,
Contract Administration, Programming and project execution. These core skills to be
delivered consistently with the company's quality outputs and to high Client satisfaction levels.

To ensure the basis of contracting is robust and risk averse, using the company's templates
including Cost management and Architectural duties.
To work closely with and support the Senior Management Team / Board Directors in
delivering PM objectives efficiently.
To ensure the services offered by the PM team can be applied for internal PM
challenges.

General Duties
* PM/EA;
o Regularly review scope and terms of service
o Ensure consistency and effectiveness of standard reporting templates
o Ensure regular and consistent reporting to Clients
o Deliver highest standard of Contract Administration
o Consult with other (partnering) professionals for best practice
* Brand Guardian
o Liaise with Design (Shape) / Retail Planning (Make) teams for Brand
standards
o Assist in conclusion of the RAG process and attend presentation
o Manage the early introduction of the BG stages and processes against an
agreed project programme
o Report on Progress milestones
o Report on pressures affecting Standards implementation at project level
o Report changes in Manufacturer CI and min standards and promptly
communicate same to Retailer teams
o Ensure consistency in application of standards in the company's lead projects
o Implement templates for compliance tracking (auditing) and reporting on
Projects
o Report on Supplier and Specification deviations
o Track multiple project progress and ensure attendance at site inspections
o Implement and manage handover process for compliant sign off
* Cost Management
o Manage and support the early feasibility cost estimating outputs
o Ensure regular and consistent cost reporting to Clients
Commercial (PM P&L)
* Assist in the preparation of pitch documents and drafting of proposals and fee quotes
* Assist in monthly invoicing stages with Finance
Communication
* Ensure project actions and duties are promptly closed out
* Provide regular Client feedback
* Address internal communications between departments to ensure consistency of
outputs
* Ensure project timetables and deadlines are established and monitored
* Ensure integrated project deliverable from Design / Feasibility / Architectural and PM
output
* Ensure reports are tabled in good time for issue
* Communicate production standards and requirements to the team
Internal Communications
* Ensure liaison between Team Leaders and arrange regular internal briefings and QA
checking for consistently informed deliverables on all project issues
Marketing
* Always promote the business in a positive and constructive light
* Assist with planning a sustainable level of resource
Other
* Ensure the company are meeting the institutional PM standards of accreditation
Measurement of Success
* Compliant implementation of PM/BG processes
* Lead on internal and external PM processes for a more integrated business
* Incrementally increase revenue from new business
* An increase in awareness among our clients and staff of PM/BG capability and
effectiveness
* Effective development and mentoring of junior staff
