Head of Building Phsyics (Architectural)

Salary : £55000 – £70000/annum
Conrad Consulting have a unique, new vacancy available in Lancashire that would be best suited to a Senior individual from an Architectural background.
Our client are an insulation specialist. Their project work ranges from housing extensions, larger housing schemes and public buildings such as schools, libraries and similar. With an increasing nation-wide demand to lower energy bills, they are experiencing high-demand for their work and therefore are looking to add further, experienced individuals to their team.
This new hire will have the title of 'Head of Building Phsyics'. And will essentially be the in-house expert and "go-to" person for those looking for technical support and advice. One of the core competencies of the role will involve the calculation of U-Values for major construction projects.
Some of the criteria we are looking for include:
Excellent technical knowledge.
Excellent understanding of building physics.
Previous experience/knowledge of roof, wall and floor insulation projects.
Ability to calculate U-Values and condensation risks.
Vast experience working in building projects. Particularly with a focus on refurbishment and retrofitting.
Experience in a leadership role.
