Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £70000 – £80000/annum
Mechanical Design Engineer required to join a well-established company that specialise in delivering next-generation textile production processes that will deliver a dramatic reduction in energy consumption and eliminate contaminated wastewater emissions.
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements
Previous experience in tension control of extensible materials, preferably fabrics
Experience in the handling of broad-web and narrow-web materials, preferably fabrics
Experience of fabric/paper continuous web handling design and development in textiles/inkjet/offset press industries
Knowledge of servo motors, ac drives, rollers, pin drives etc.
Able to inform machine design on web path design
Able to set up test facilities for web path development
Hands-on engineering approach
SolidWorks user
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
Full time permanent position
Salary – £70,000 – £80,000 (DOE)
33 days holiday including BH
Monday – Friday – 09:00am – 17:30pm
