Catering Assistant
Are you seeking work within school hours, and can you start immediately!? Pertemps are seeking a Catering Assistant in Oswestry to join our clients busy team located in a Secondary School. You must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment and able to work well as a team.
The successful candidate must be happy for us to process you an Enhanced DBS check.
Duties
Assist with preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
Prepare service areas such as hot cupboards and other equipment as instructed.
Wash dishes, cutlery, jugs, serving utensils, containers, tables, and all other catering equipment in the catering environment.
Inform the Unit Supervisor of any defects in equipment or premises.
Undertake any other duties that may be required for the effective operation of the catering department.
Ideal Candidate
Will have experience working within a fast paced, food environment.
Will ideally have a certificate within Food Preparation, Safety or Hygiene advantageous.
Can work well collaboratively as a team, aswell as independently, always maintaining high levels of self-motivation.
Highest standard of hygiene.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Hours Mon-Fri 09:30-14:30
Salary £9.50p/h
